The BTBenchmark application will benchmark Bluetooth links using RFCOMM. The user can configure security settings for the Bluetooth links and choose
different amounts of data to transfer during the benchmark. An informative UI displays relevant information before, during and after connections. The source
code for BTBenchmark shows how a service record can be customized and how to set up RFCOMM links. BTBenchmark also does device discovery and service
discovery to find the benchmark service. Hence, developers can use it as a starting point for developing their own Bluetooth MIDlets.
BTBenchmark is a MIDP2.0/CLDC1.0 application.
BTBenchmark is available for download through the WAP-section of klings.org. Go to:
http://wap.klings.org
with your WAP device. BTBenchmark is approximately 16K.
The source code is now available! Download it here:

Note that BTBenchmark uses some of the classes in the KlingsLib library. Developers might want to look at at the KlingsLib source code or use the KlingsLib in their applications.
