Benhui.net provides many J2ME related links. They have a Bluetooth Browser available for download (though you should prefer mine!).

Rococosoft has developed the Rococo Simulator. This is a great tool for developing applications before deploying them to MIDs. They also have a development kit for Linux available. This works great with the Bluez Bluetooth stack for Linux. See Rococo under Tools for our experience with this software.
